How to Join MPTA
You Must Be Eligible: Any Business entity that, for a period of one or more years preceding the date of its membership application, has been actively and substantially engaged within North America in the manufacture and sale of mechanical power transmission equipment shall be eligible for membership. Member companies can send as many people as they wish to MPTA meetings, but each member company will have only one vote on questions submitted to the membership for decision.
You Must Apply: Applications for membership will be subject to approval by the majority of MPTA member companies present and voting at a regular or specially convened meeting.
You Must Pay Dues: Annual Dues for membership in the Association shall be .050 of 1% of Annual Sales plus $250. No member shall pay dues on sales in excess of $10,000,000. Minimum Dues will be $900, Maximum Dues $5,250.
